About the Top 50 Philanthropic Gifts
The Top 50 Phianthropic Gifts is an initiative of ProBono Australia that recognises those who have silently funded extraordinary changes throughout Australia's history. The Top 50 list includes initiatives, projects and organisations from a variety of sectors within Australia. Of the 50 nominees, IEP is the only organisation to be recognised in the filed of peace, and one of only two organisations working in international development.
The support and development of the Institute for Economics and Peace over the last seven years has allowed us to grow and become a world-leading think tank, dedicated to shifting the world's focus to peace as a measurable, achievable goal. Whilst most peace institutes traditionally focus on studying conflict, IEP is focused on studying the factors that lead to and sustain lasting peace as well as on understanding the economic benefits that flow from reductions of violence.Related Articles
